It looks like a week of rain here in Sydney. To keep a little warmer, even though it is Summer.
Get your pizza dough on the go! Obviously you can add any of your favourite topping but heres one of mine.
3 cups of flour (strong flour is best)
1 pkt yeast
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup warm water
In the cup of water water, add the yeast. Do not stir, let it sit on the top and you'll see it bubble up and activate. In a bowl add the rest of the ingredients. When the yeast is ready add to the bowl and mix well. When it starts to form a dough consistency use your hands to kneed the dough for at least 10 minutes. Cover the bowl with the dough in it with a clean tea towel and leave to rise. Depending on the weather with depend on how long. Make sure you dont put in anywhere there is a breeze, somewhere warm is best.
Once it has doubled in size, punch the dough to get the air out, and kneed again. Let rest and rise one more time. When it has risen the second time, divide into 3 balls for 3 small pizza's.
Add your toppings and pop in to an oven set at 200 c ( on your pizza setting if you have one)
My choice Prosciutto, mozzarella and olives!
Enjoy and stay dry!
